Attorney (more than 5 years of experience)

Is registered with the Czech Bar Association as an attorney and is permitted to provide independent legal advice to clients. Represents clients during trials. Acquires new clients and may specialise in a specific legal area or practice general law. Usually has a permanent clientele and often opens his/her own legal office.

Compensation and Benefits Manager

Is responsible for administering remuneration and benefits, and participates in strategic decision-making. Proposes and implements approved changes, selects suppliers and monitors the budget. Provides support in relation to determining the salary for newly established positions. Monitors the market and the competition in the field of remuneration.

GDPR Officer

Also called a Data Protection Officer. A GDPR Officer monitors and supervises compliance in the area of personal data processing, staff training and the overall management of the internal data protection agenda.

HR Administrator

Is responsible for administrative support of the HR Department by preparing entrance and exit documents for employees, planning, registration and evaluation of trainings, and for keeping records of the provided work equipment. This position has no subordinates.

HR Business Partner (more than 3 years of experience)

Is responsible for supporting the higher and middle management in relation to HR issues, participates in development of the branch/company/division with regards to strategic HR issues, is involved in outplacement programmes, and is responsible for implementing changes and re-configuring HR processes. He/She has a consultancy and advisory role and frequently provides advice on labour law issues. Does not usually head a team.

HR Business Partner (less than 3 years of experience)

A consultant to management in relation to HR processes and legislation. Has less decision-making authority than an HR BP with over 3 years experience. Participates in discussions about changes to HR processes. Does not usually head a team.

HR Director (more than 10 years of experience)

Responsible for strategic management of the Human Resources Department and heading a team of subordinates. He/She is a member of the top management. This position often concerns management of HR in several countries or regions (CEE, EMEA).

HR Generalist

Responsible for all personnel administration in smaller and medium enterprises. He/She is responsible for recruiting, developing and training employees, participates in preparing the salary and benefits system and assures all personnel administration. Communicates directly with the company’s director and other members of the management.

HR Manager (more than 5 years of experience)

Manages the local HR Department (one country, but usually multiple branches/plants) and is responsible for all HR processes being correct. Handles implementation of changes to HR, manages the team and reports to the HR Director or the company’s managing director.

HR Manager (less than 5 years of experience)

He/She is responsible for HR within the specific organisation. Provides cooperation across the company when dealing with and planning HR issues and is responsible for integrating legislative changes into the company’s regulations. Communicates with the relevant authorities and independent suppliers.

HR Specialist

This is a role that mainly appears in larger companies. The specialist is responsible for only one area of HR administration, e. g. for recruiting employees, their adaptation and training. He/She handles all the related administration and assures communication between the company’s employees and the management.

In-house Lawyer

Responsible for the company’s legal administration, proposes and approves in-house guidelines, monitors legal news and compliance of in-house regulations with the valid legislation. He/She is responsible for contracts and their legal form and coordinates communication with independent legal offices. He/She may head a team. Pay differs depending on how much experience the candidate has.

Office Manager with English

Is responsible for the complete operation of the office. This employee’s administrative tasks often include HR administration, administration of the vehicle fleet and management of offices or buildings. He/She communicates with suppliers, authorities, financial institutions, administers company documents (contracts, etc.), may issue invoices and work with accountants. He/She also manages subordinates (assistants, receptionists).

PA/Executive Assistant

Provides full administrative support to his/her superior/s by administering the calendar, organising business trips, and preparing and examining documents or meeting minutes. May accompany his/her superior on business trips. Support may also include assistance with his/her superior’s personal schedule. Pay differs depending on how much experience the candidate has.

Paralegal/Articled Clerk (less than 3 years of experience)

A graduate of a university law faculty. He/She is responsible for carrying out research, studying court practice related to cases, preparing documents and other administration. He/She may accompany an attorney to court and participate in meetings with clients.

Receptionist (more than 3 years of experience)

Is responsible for overall operation of the reception. He/She is often in the role of chief receptionist, selecting and training new receptionists, scheduling shifts and supervising them.

Receptionist (less than 3 years of experience)

Responsible for greeting visitors, handling correspondence, e-mail and telephone communication, administration of conference rooms, ordering couriers and taxi services and assuring other simple ad hoc tasks.

Recruitment Manager

Is responsible for selecting and recruiting employees. Approves cooperation with independent suppliers.

Recruitment Specialist

He/She is responsible for recruiting, coordination and advertising of recruitment, selection of CVs and for conducting interviews or simply screening CVs. He/She subsequently communicates the results of selection of candidates to the company’s management.

Talent Sourcer

Is responsible for seeking out the correct profiles of candidates for a specific company, sector and position. Actively seeks out passive candidates on social networks and using other sources. Cooperates with the HR Department, which he/she is a member of.

Training and Development Specialist/Coordinator

Handles selection of suppliers, proposes development plans and coordinates trainings. Makes sure that statutory training requirements are met and monitors the set budget.

IT Recruiter

IT recruiter focuses primarily on IT recruitment.  He/she monitors the situation in the labour market, proposes a strategy for advertising recruitment activities, and takes care of the daily reporting of results. Organizes selection procedures, plans and conducts interviews, and communicates with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
