Area Manager

Is responsible for dealing and communicating with key partners in the field he/she works in. Monitors the market, seeks new business opportunities, communicates with existing customers and acquires new clients.

CNC Cutter

Responsible for preparing and machining material according to the technological procedure and plan documentation. Operates the CNC milling machine/machining centre, prepares the work process and configures the machine’s functions. Programs simpler shapes.

CNC OPERATOR

Operates, configures and partially adjusts CNC machines (3 or 5-axis milling machine or lathe). Works with technical plan documentation. Machines material to the required accuracy and quality.

CNC Programmer

Programs CNC machines and subsequently configures parameters, adjusts the machines and tests them. Creates programs on the basis of technical and plan documentation and adjusts them according to production assignments.

CQA Engineer

Is the chief point of contact for customers in relation to quality. He/She is responsible for resolving all quality issues for the customer, subsequent corrective measures, as well as blocking of parts that do not meet the required quality.

Design Leader

Manages a team of machine designers and is responsible for coordinating projects. Communicates with the client and deals with technical specifications. Should be familiar with 3D design applications and have experience in the position of Senior Design Engineer.

EHS Manager

A representative of management in the field of OHS and the environment. Manages EHS and OHS specialists. Is responsible for managing and coordinating projects for improvement in the given areas. Frequently a key person for communication with government administration bodies.

Electrical Design Engineer

Processes comprehensive design documentation for electronic devices and components, such as design of switchboards, sensors, circuit-breakers, frequency changers or cabling. Uses design software.

Electrical Maintenance

Workers in this position assure diagnostics and maintenance of machinery from the electrical aspect. They are responsible for providing technical support, creating technical documentation, seeking out defects in machines and regular preventive maintenance. This position requires an education specialising in electrics (secondary vocational school or secondary school) and Decree 50, at least Section 6. This position usually involves working in shifts.

FEM Specialist

He/She is a member of the design team and is responsible for the field of strength computations, usually using the finite element method.

Grinder

Processes materials using a hand-held sander or other grinding equipment and manipulates the material. Grinds edges or surfaces of metal materials.

HW Engineer

He/She is a member of the development team and is responsible for the development of HW systems in the given area and for designing and verifying the function of HW. Also executes technical documentation and testing.

H&S Engineer

Responsible for administering in-house regulations in relation to OHS and fire prevention. Provides trainings for new employees in OHS and fire prevention rules and communicates with government administration bodies. Responsible for creating documentation and performing audits.

Chief Technical Officer

Is responsible for the company’s technologies (including buildings) with the goal of assuring the required manufacturing capacity, while achieving optimum costs. Is responsible for ensuring the smooth continuity of manufacturing with the help of maintenance that he/she often supervises, decides on future investments in the company’s technical equipment (in cooperation with the Purchasing Department), through which he/she optimises company outputs.

Injection Moulding Setter

Responsible for setting input parameters according to the drawing documentation, ensures preparation of the material being processed, replaces injection tools (moulds) and adjusts injection machines with the goal of optimising injection press machines.

Key Account Manager

The Key Account Manager is responsible for the long-term development of business relations with key company customers. He is responsible for sales and customer care, negotiating the terms of partnerships, and the preparation of sales plans and marketing activities.

Lead Production Supervisor

A Lead Production Supervisor manages a team of line masters, evaluates production plans of individual production lines, plans shifts and oversees workplace safety. The holder of this position participates in meetings with the production management on a regular basis and usually does not work in shifts.

Lead Project Manager

A Lead Project Manager coordinates project managers, evaluates the status of customer projects, their timeliness and accuracy of their execution according to project criteria.

Lean Engineer

Is responsible for optimising manufacturing processes. Determines optimum manufacturing times and capacities. Participates in the implementation of new manufacturing processes and projects and seeks improvements and savings within the scope of the manufacturing process. Cooperates on the improvement and development of technical equipment.

LEAN MANAGER

Responsible for administration of the lean system throughout the company. Manages and organises projects for permanent improvement and supports all activities related to lean management. Manages projects from the identification of limited areas through proposals and the actual realisation of remedial measures, to assessment of the results of these actions. Closely cooperates with employees in production, technologies, investments, planning and also logistics, purchasing, finance, etc. He/She focuses his/her activities on the manufacturing sector as well as non-manufacturing corporate activities.

Lean Specialist

A junior entry position in the field of lean manufacturing. Lean Specialists participate in the identification of bottlenecks in production and forwards their own suggestions for improvement to the lean production manager. They do not deal too much with the whole, but rather with the limited areas of production or projects.

Locksmith

Responsible for various metal fitting work in the company on the basis of technical documentation and assignments. Works on various assembly projects in the company or on various projects outside the company. Is often responsible for visual inspection of metal fitting projects. This position is usually combined with another position within the organisational structure.

Machine Maintenance

Machine maintenance workers are responsible for maintaining machinery and removing defects in mechanical parts of machines. They are in charge of checking the condition of the machinery and their regular inspections, as well as planning overhauls. This position usually works in shifts and requires a mechanical engineering education (secondary vocational school).

Maintenance Manager

Responsible for making sure manufacturing machines and equipment are operable and plans and coordinates machine maintenance. Leads a team of maintenance men and is responsible for spare parts and efficient energy use. Assures preventive maintenance and an audit plan and is responsible for operator resolutions of manufacturing problems. Communicates with suppliers of spare parts.

Maintenance OPERATOR (ELECTRICIAN)

Works in the manufacturing, assembly, repairs and testing phases of electrical machinery, devices and equipment. Professional qualification in accordance with Decree No. 50/1978 Coll. is necessary for this position.

Maintenance Specialist

Responsible for the maintenance of machines and machine equipment, tools and electrical devices, and repairs of potential malfunctions. Executes the relevant administration, deals with malfunctions and plans repairs. Cooperates with other departments – adjusters and toolmakers. Very frequently works in shifts.

Manufacturing Engineer

Defines manufacturing procedures and ensures the smooth progress of manufacturing in the entrusted sector. Foresees possible deficiencies and remedies errors that occur. Develops manufacturing processes in compliance with the requirements of manufacturing.

Manufacturing Shift Leader

Responsible for his/her shift team of manufacturing operators. Coordinates activities, is responsible for the quality of manufacturing during a specific shift and deals with problems of an operative character.

Mechanical Design Engineer (more than 3 years of experience)

Designs and realises the construction of new machinery, systems, equipment and products. Performs structural computation of structural components, analyses designs using specialised programs and executes design solutions. Also usually creates technical documentation for manufacturing. Is able to work in 2D, but more frequently in 3D design software.

Mechanical Design Engineer (less than 3 years of experience)

Mechanical Design Engineers design and implement the construction of new machines, systems, equipment and products. Other tasks include design calculations of structural parts, analyses of designs using specialized programs, and processing of structural solutions. Mechanical Design Engineers usually also create technical documentation for production, and can work in 2D, but more often in 3D design software.

Metal Worker/Machinist

Responsible for machining materials on NC or CNC horizontal milling machines. Responsible for clamping material to the machine, checks the settings on the machine and subsequently inspects the quality of the product. May work in shifts.

Metrologist

Has several roles within the company. Mainly takes care of the condition of meters and their calibration. Is responsible for their validity according to valid legal regulations and legislative regulations. Communicates with both state administration bodies and certification organizations, often working with 3D measuring devices.

Paint Shop Operator

Responsible for preparing surfaces to be painted and paints, spackling, sanding and paint spraying. Responsible for the final painting of surfaces and inspection of the performed work. Works with technical documentation, chemicals and hazardous waste. He/She adheres to the stipulated standards and OHS standards.

Plant Manager

Is responsible for managing the company’s complex activities. Manages finances, manufacturing, technologies, HR, purchasing and logistics, quality, sales and marketing, etc., directly or through other employees. Represents the company during negotiations with external organisations (suppliers, clients, banks, government bodies, etc.).

PLC Engineer (MORE THAN 3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE)

Responsible for designing, analysis, development and installation of PLC automats, actual PLC programming and testing PLC programs during implementation. Also creates and administers documents for programs.

PLC Specialist (less than 3 years of experience)

A junior entry position in the field of industrial automation. PLC Specialists are responsible for installation and light modifications of PLC automats, deployment and start of programs.

Process Engineer

Responsible for the manufacturing process and for manufacturing technologies as well as for optimising the manufacturing process. Responsible for technical support of manufacturing and for the entrusted section of manufacturing from the technological aspect. Works on various manufacturing projects.

Product Manager

The Product Manager is responsible for entrusted products, monitoring current trends on the market, development of the entrusted brand and the subsequent development of strategic plans. He/She is also responsible for creating product materials, training the company’s sales representatives, coordinating key projects and seeking new business opportunities.

Production Engineering Manager

Is responsible for technologies leading to ensurance of the required manufacturing capacity and its quality, while achieving optimum costs. Ensures problem-free continuity of manufacturing with the help of maintenance, decides on future investments in the company’s technical equipment (in cooperation with the Purchasing Department), by means of which he/she optimises company outputs. He/She is responsible for technologies and manufacturing procedure, administration and optimisation, from the aspect of reducing costs (material, machine time, labour costs, etc.), to ensure the required quality of outputs.

Production Manager

Responsible for managing and inspecting the entrusted sector of manufacturing (or the whole of manufacturing), the implementation of and adherence to manufacturing procedures and planning manufacturing capacities. He/She supervises the performance of manufacturing orders in terms of the set deadlines and quality, and is responsible for managing subordinate workers, for OHS principles and adherence to these, and for the remuneration of workers. He/She regularly inspects the parameters of the manufacturing process and reports the results of overall activities to the company’s management.

Production OPERATOR

Responsible for manufacturing part of or a whole product, operates machines and equipment, performs simple assembly work, maintenance and cleaning. Very frequently works in shifts.

PRODUCTION PLANNER (MORE THAN 3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE)

Creates production plans on the basis of historic data and trends, his/her job also includes communication with the marketing and sales departments, which inform him/her of new promotions and special projects. This position is more analytical, but effective communication with various departments and the ability to assert one’s own opinion are also very important.

PRODUCTION PLANNER (LESS THAN 3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE)

Executes materials for creating plans, executes breakdowns of individual items in the workplace or smaller organisational units. Prepares and executes individual parts of plans and cost and revenue balances for the relevant time periods. Executes proposals for optimising and distributing costs. Also administers the relevant records.

Production Planning Manager

Is responsible for planning contract/series production over defined periods of time and for planning and allocating resources (material, people, manufacturing lines, machine time, etc.) depending on the priorities of individual projects, taking into account the optimisation of processes and optimum utilisation of company resources.

Production Supervisor

Responsible for managing the manufacturing team in the entrusted section for the purpose of meeting the manufacturing plan and assuring the quality of the manufacturing process. Responsible for recruiting new employees, training them and adapting and planning shifts. Supervises safety in the workplace. Very frequently works in shifts.

Project Manager

Is responsible for the complex management of projects, supervises their realisation, ensures compliance with the set deadlines, budgets, quality and technical parameters. He/She also communicates with customers about project specifications and is responsible for identifying problematic areas, assessing causes and proposing solutions. He/She coordinates team members and provides technical support. Depending on the type of company and distribution of roles, he/she may also be involved e. g. in negotiating the terms of contracts.

RnD Mechanical Design Engineer

RnD Mechanical Design Engineers collaborate closely with other designers to develop new systems according to a specific project in narrowly focused areas. They participate in the work of various project teams in order to achieve cost, investment, time and quality objectives.

Robotics Specialist

Robotics Specialists are responsible for programming robotic workplaces according to production requirements, proposes SW improvements and eliminates errors in automated processes. They collaborate with the production staff very closely.

Sales Manager

Is responsible for implementing and developing the company’s business and sales activities. He/She simultaneously represents the company externally and maintains business relations with existing and new customers.

Service/Commissioning Engineer

Is responsible for servicing and installing new machinery at the customer. This position often requires travel around the Czech Republic and sometimes also abroad. Candidates frequently meet the requirements of Decree No. 50/1978 Coll. They carry out a wide range of work, from testing machinery to maintenance.

SQA Engineer

Is responsible for the quality of components, parts and materials entering the manufacturing process from independent suppliers. He/She also organises suppliers, performs supplier audits and also regularly communicates and resolves issues in relation to supplier quality.

Technical Sales Support

This position includes communication with customers, specification of parameters, the preparation of technical documentation and cooperation with technical departments on the development of new products and support for customer care.

Technical Sales Representative

He/She is responsible for caring for existing clients, acquiring new clients, and the development of sales activities in the technical sector. In contrast to an ordinary sales representative, prior knowledge of the products or a technically specialised education is often required for this position.

Test Engineer

A member of the development team. He/She is responsible for testing and measuring electrical values using metering instruments in a laboratory, possibly also for testing mechanical values or material properties.

Toolmaker

Manufactures and modifies tools or moulds. Works with technical documentation and uses metering equipment. Coordinates the preparation of manufacturing up to release into the manufacturing process, and takes samples.

Tool Shop Manager

A Tool Shop Manager takes care of the smooth running of the tool shop, monitors the requirements of production and distributes the work accordingly. For specific tools, his/her tasks include control of their production, and participation in sampling and commissioning processes.

Welder

Welds various structures, usually steel, checks welds and makes sure quality regulations are met. Responsible for the final treatment of welds, cleaning and inspection of performed welds, potentially also repairs welds. Inspects the input material and completed products in compliance with the technological documentation. Must have a valid welding licence.

Welding Engineer

Responsible for assessing orders in terms of welding, preparing technological procedures for welding, issuing production and assembly weld documentation (WPS, WPQR), inspecting welding processes before, during and after welding, and preparing a welding plan. He/She is responsible for constant improvement of technological procedures and cooperation in the construction of welding equipment, including ordering welding supplies. He/She assures regular training of welders and checks that welding licences are complete. IWT/IWE (WWT/EWE) certification and MIG, MAG and TIG knowledge are usually required.

Quality Engineer (more than 3 years of experience)

Responsible for the relevant sector of quality within the company (inhouse/customer/supplier/projects), communicates with customers/suppliers and other departments within the company. Supervises claims and remedial measures and applies quality instruments, for instance 8D, PPAP, FMEA, APQP or SMED.

Quality Engineer (less than 3 years of experience)

Quality Engineers are responsible for the relevant area of quality within the company (internal/ customer/ supplier/ projects), communicate with customers/ suppliers and other departments within the company.They manage complaints and corrective actions. They apply quality tools, such as 8D, PPAP, FMEA, APQP or SMED.

Quality Manager

Manages the Quality Department (in-house, customer, supplier, new projects), and leads and motivates subordinates. He/She is responsible for configuring and maintaining the quality system and for the overall strategy, and is also responsible for in-house and external audits.

Quality Technician

Responsible for inspecting products or input raw materials. Compiles data about defective products and cooperates with quality engineers on the realisation of correctivex and preventive measures by manufacturing or suppliers.
