Analysis of the job market 2023

Analysis of the job market 2023

You are receiving the latest edition of our exclusive survey, which deals with the analysis of the labour market from different points of view on the life, needs and preferences of Slovak employees across their various fields of activity. The war in Ukraine, high inflation rates, and especially the inexorable increase in the cost of living significantly influenced the need for job stability, along with adequate salary evaluation and a fair approach on the part of the employer.

In addition to mapping the current situation on the labour market, our survey also pays attention to how Slovaks are looking for new
job opportunities, what motivates and demotivates them at work, and the issues of satisfaction at the workplace. A significant and
important topic was the view of Slovak employees on the current economic situation. From the survey results, you will learn whether they had to limit themselves in something significantly recently, as well as their view of the direction of Slovakia and their life in the country. We also addressed the increasingly urgent issues of ecology, unethical and illegal behaviour at the workplace, bullying and other current trends.

1,825 respondents participated in the survey – a representative sample of the online population of the Slovak Republic in terms of age, gender, education, region, and size of the place of residence. These were people of economically productive age, in the vast majority full-time employees. However, self-employed and part-time employees are also represented. The survey was conducted in the form of a questionnaire on the Tendaro online panel between 28th and 31st January 2023.
