SENIOR ERP SYSTEM SPECIALIST/CONSULTANT
Job description
- Maintain contacts with local suppliers on support issues, fixes and new releases
- Functional support of the solutions provided by the central / regional organization
- Support the selection of solutions needed locally / not provided by the regional or central organization
- Functional support of the solutions selected and implemented on local level
- Creation of Business Requirement Specifications (BRS)
- Creation of functional designs (for applications to be implemented on local level and hosted on local level) (FD)
- Review BRS and FD, attend workshops (support of central developments)
- Training of local key-users and moderate the train the trainer process (check if all end-users have received the proper training)
- Supports other Local Alpha IS Biz departments when needed within the same region or outside of the own region
- Prepare and moderate / execute acceptance tests
- Process documentation and User documentation
- Supports the implementation of new solutions, replacement of existing solutions and the implementation of new customers
- Authorization (in applications, maintain authorization structure)
- Execution of configuration / system management when applicable (ERP, local solutions)
- Reporting of defects
- Creation of Application Forms (covering request for change)
- BO support and reporting support: use of reporting tools, BO and ODBC.
- Data Warehouse: support the local organization in using the data warehouse, definition of change requests / new requirements for the data warehouse
- Maintain contacts with IT departments of suppliers and external customers. Join common projects
- Execution of business process analysis and (re)design. Related measurements of process performance and process improvements. For those activities which can be optimized with IT interventions, create proposals for optimization
- Discuss with the organization the impact of new / changed processes on the organization: propose new organizational structures (map the organization on the business processes)
- Support the implementation of new business processes
Requirements
- Bachelor and/or master degree in IT or comparable education with focus on logistics and IT
- Experience with implementation and configuration of ERP and BoB systems in whole sale distribution
- Experienced in creating user documentation
- Experienced in process analysis and process (re-)design
- ERP, WMS, TMS, BO, ODBC, MS Office applications, SQL server
