Amazon to Open Seller Support Center in Bratislava, Slovakia, Creating over 200 New Jobs by end of 2012Seattle, June 14, 2011 – Amazon.com, Inc., today announced plans to open a Seller Support Center in Bratislava, Slovakia, and create over two hundred full-time jobs at the facility by the end of 2012. The center will be approximately 2,200 square meters in size and will be Amazon’s first Center in Slovakia. Amazon is currently recruiting full-time Seller Support Associates and Listing Specialists with German or English fluency. Leadership and Support roles include positions in Operations, Human Resources, Workflow Analysis, Information Technology and Training delivery. The new Seller Support Center will be supplementing the existing centers in Germany and Ireland and will deliver B2B support to help Amazon sellers be successful with their businesses. With over two million sellers around the world, units sold via third party sellers represent one third of all orders on Amazon websites.
